DC Mokokchung, Tseminyu inform govt. servants on Republic Day celebrations

Mokokchung/Dimapur, Jan. 24 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir on Monday ordered all the government servants posted within Mokokchung town to participate in the upcoming Republic Day function on January 26, 2022, an update stated.

The order further cautioned that disciplinary action would be initiated against any government servant found absent without authorised leave.

It informed that NLA Speaker Sharingain Longkumer has been assigned to unfurl the national flag on Republic Day and deliver the speech during the event.

Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chüsi, has also informed all heads of offices and government servants under Tseminyu district to attend the 73rd Republic Day celebration to be held on January 26, 2022 at RSA Ground Tseminyu Old Town from 8.30 am.

Further, the DC asked all the offices to take attendance and submit it to the DC office on the same day. Covid-19 appropriate behaviour and government SOPs are to be strictly followed, he added.
