The deputy commissioner of Kohima, Shanavas C, has issued a circular directing all head of offices stationed at Kohima headquarters and Gaon Buras within Kohima Sadar (urban and rural) to compulsorily participate in the upcoming 77th Independence Day celebrations on August 15.
DIMAPUR— The deputy commissioner of Kohima, Shanavas C, has issued a circular directing all head of offices stationed at Kohima headquarters and Gaon Buras within Kohima Sadar (urban and rural) to compulsorily participate in the upcoming 77th Independence Day celebrations on August 15. The event would take place at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza.
The DC further informed all head of departments to collect invitation cards and car passes from the Establishment Branch beginning from August 12 during office hours.
In another notification, DC Kohima has asked all head of offices, non-governmental organisations and other concerned parties within Kohima district to collect the national flags from the Development Branch of the DC’s office on August 11 and 12.
The initiative was in alignment with the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaigns.
