DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) has appreciated all the participants, donors, and volunteers for making the voluntary blood donation camp a success on October 2 at District Hospital Dimapur.
An update from DAYO stated that the voluntary blood donation camp, organised in collaboration with blood bank of District Hospital, Dimapur, saw an overwhelming response from the members as well as residents of Dimapur. The event was aimed at addressing the critical need for blood donations especially during the challenging times of dengue outbreak.
It stated that the voluntary blood donation camp witnessed an impressive turnout of donors, reflecting the community’s willingness to contribute to the welfare of others. It added that the donated blood would go a long way in supporting local hospitals and clinics by providing vital support to patients in need.
Meanwhile, DAYO has thanked the healthcare professionals led by Dr. Temsu Ao, nodal officer of blood bank at District Hospital, Dimapur, volunteers and partners who have worked tirelessly to make the event a success. It stated their dedication and support were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and efficient blood donation process.
DAYO further assured to continue its endeavours for community-driven activities and contribute for the well-being and prosperity of the citizens of Dimapur.
