DAN legislature party upholds NLA resolution on land and resources

Democratic Alliance of Nagaland Legislature Party today resolved to uphold the resolution of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on Land and its resources 2010, and also to uphold the Rules and Regulations on Nagaland Petroleum & Natural Gases passed in 2012.
DAN Legislature Party Spokesman Yitachu in a statement informed that a joint meeting of the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland Legislature Party held at the State Banquet Hall after thorough deliberations this afternoon resolved to further approach central leaders of both the ruling as well as the opposition to apprise them of the Naga political problem and to urge them to support for an early solution to the political problem.
The meeting also appreciated the efforts of the various governmental departments and other participating NGOs for the success of the Hornbill Festival 2015.
Meanwhile, Yitachu in a separate statement informed that the NPF Legislature Party also met today at Chief Minister’s Banquet Hall and after thorough deliberations welcomed and thanked the erstwhile 8 INC, 1 NCP and 1 JD (U) MLAs for merging with the NPF party raising the NPF Legislature party to an all-time high of 48 MLAs in a house of 60.
NPF Legislature Party also reiterated full support to the leadership of TR Zeliang, leader of the NPF Legislature party in the years to come and acknowledged the statement of the party president Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu recently that TR Zeliang will continue to lead the NPF Legislature Party beyond 2018.
It also resolved to maintain the DAN alliance in letter and spirit with all the political parties in the State including the Independent MLAs.
