DALT to organise concert featuring various artists

The Dimapur Ao Lanur Telongjem (DALT) is all set to organise a musical extravaganza at DDSC Stadium on Nov. 4 from 6 p.m onwards featuring various artists from all age groups including veteran musicians like Anungba Sanglir, Sashi & Asen, Tzuza Imchen and many more.
The concert will be held in aid of Senden Riju building construction at Purana Bazaar which will be an all purpose commercial building not just for the Ao community but for all tribes and organisations.
During a press conference held at DALT Treasurer’s residence, organisers of the fund raiser said that few other events were organised for the completion of the building but due to limited funds it was not possible. Through this concert the organisers hopes that the building construction will be completed wherein the general public can avail the facility at the earliest.
It was also informed that the Ao Sensur Telongjem Dimapur (ASTD) handed over the initiative to DALT.
Amongst other musicians and artists, Wapong Ozukum(Incipit), Dreamz Unlimited and Moajungla, the singer who went viral with her rendition of ‘Coat of Many Colours’ are also part of the event.
Donor tickets priced at Rs 2000 admit 4, Rs 500 admit 2 and Rs 200 for students are said to be available at Lunchroom, opp. West Police Station and at the Venue. The organisers also informed of free refreshments for all ticket holders and ample parking space at the venue.
