CRBC organises fellowship on ‘impactful leadership’
Leaders of various Rengma frontal organizations during the fellowship on the theme ‘‘Impactful leadership’ at Mission Centre Zunpha conference hall, Tseminyu on Saturday.

DIMAPUR — The Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) organised the Rengma Frontal Organisations (RFO) Fellowship 2024 at Mission Centre Zunpha conference hall, Tseminyu on Saturday.

A total of thirty-eight leaders representing the various Rengma frontal organisations such as Rengma Hoho, Rengma Mothers’ Association, Rengma Village Council Chairman Forum, Rengma Officer’s Forum, Rengma Selo Zi and Rengma Students’ Union, attended the fellowship, stated an update.

The heads of all the frontal organisations shared their respective organisation’s vision, programmes and prayer concerns and the congregation collectively prayed for their leadership.

The leaders of the frontal organisations also took a joint pledge to commit themselves to become true leaders based on the theme ‘Impactful leadership.’

The leaders pledged to stand for truth and draw strength from honest relationship with God; to influence people and change their lives for social transformation and, to identify and prioritise the key issues and challenges confronting the society.

They further pledged to develop plans in their annual calendars of events for implementation.

Earlier, Rev. Haiwalo Apon, executive secretary of CRBC, led the innovation and delivered the welcome address.

Dr. Joshua Lorin, principal of Oriental Theological College, expounded on the meaning of leadership and said that it is the ability to influence the lives of people and make positive change, leading to social transformation.

He also facilitated the session on self-assessment and identification of key issues and priorities confronting society.
