DIMAPUR — In commemoration of 150th year celebration of its formation later this year, the Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has decided to organise a one-day seminar on September 28 at CPO Hall in Chümoukedima town from 9:30 am onwards.
An update from the secretary of planning and organising committee, Sebastian Zumvu, informed that the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Kevithuto Sophie, will speak on the theme ‘Concerns facing the Naga society,’ as the resource person, while the Fire Prevention and Audit Officer of Nagaland Fire and and Emergency Services, Kenny Khing, will speak on ‘Fire safety,’ and the senior advocate at Guwahati High Court, Kohima Bench and president of High Court Bar, Kohima, CT Jamir, will speak on ‘Legal rights and responsibilities.’
Zumvu also stated that the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Dimapur, Meren Chenth, will speak on ‘Traffic safety and rules’ and the designated Food Safety Officer, Kezhangulie Yimchunger, will speak on ‘Food safety.’
He also informed that the advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affair, Government of Nagaland, Zhaleo Rio, would attend the inaugural function as the special guest.
He has requested all the chairmen of Angami village councils and GBs under Chakhroma area along with the office bearers and executive members to attend the seminar. He informed that group photos would be taken on that day to be published in the jubilee souvenir.
He has also requested all the officer bearers and executive members of CPO, Chakhroma Women Organisation (CWO), Chakhroma Youth Organisation (CYO), Chakhroma Students’ Union (CSU), CPO sesquicentennial celebration committee convenors and members, CPO circle/ unit office bearers and Chakhroma GBs’ Union office bearers to attend the seminar.
