Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): The advisor to Water Resources, Namri Nchang, who is also legislator in-charge of Peren district for Covid-19, on Friday advised the citizens of Tening to be vigilant, stating that the district is in “high risk” situation due to the detection of Covid-19 positive cases.
Addressing the meeting at Government High School auditorium, he appealed to the people to join the fight against the virus. He asked them to strictly follow standard operation protocol and not to panic. He further assured them to provide the best facilities available to fight the Covid-19.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Rhosietho Nguori highlighted the overall situation of Tening sub-division.
The meeting was attended by sub-divisional task force, government officials, GBs, pastors, and public leaders.
The advisor also visited the Covid-19 control room at Jalukie and interacted with the medical team headed by chief medical officer and the frontline workers.
