DIMAPUR— The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has wondered if the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPG) has forgotten the agreements signed with the NSCN (IM) to work together for the resolution of the Naga political issue and to refrain from ‘indulging in violence of words through print and on social media’.
It reminded that the two groups had signed ‘A Joint Accordant’ and ‘Naga Relationship and Cooperation’ in the presence of orum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), committing “to explore, at the earliest, realistic ways for Nagas to move forward on the basis of Naga historical and political rights.”
On the recent press statement from WC-NNPG, the CNC alleged that it was written by a ‘ghost writer’ and that the nine signatories of the article had no idea of the content which was “craftily drafted” in their names as their “signatures were simply lifted from somewhere and pasted.”
“However, the fact that the article was loud and obnoxious only points towards that very ghost writer hired by WC-NNPG. Such filthy narrative only reflects the sinister design. This very author is a person who had gained notoriety for writing disdainful and bombastic articles,” it alleged.
