Bengaluru, Jan. 19 (EMN): Like every week, people can watch several interesting new movies and series on their favourite OTT platforms such as Netflix, Hotstar, and ZEE5 among others.

Here, we bring you complete list of new shows and films that are out on the new-age platform this week (January 16-22):

‘Chhatriwali’

Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Chhatriwali’, a film on sex education, will be out on ZEE5 this week. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the story of the movie is laced with romance and comedy. Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Rakesh Bedi and others are in the cast.

‘Fauda’

The fourth season of ‘Fauda’ will be premiered on Netflix this week. It is an Israeli television series by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, drawing on their experience in the Israel Defense Forces. Lior Raz, Hisham Sulliman, Shadi Mar’i, Laëtitia Eïdo, Tzachi Halevy, Yuval Segal, Neta Gerti, Tomer Kapon, Itzik Cohen and Rona-Lee Shimon are part of the cast.

‘Indu: Season 2’

Directed by Sayantan Ghosal, popular Bengali web series ‘Indu: Season 2’ starring Isha Saha, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Manasi Sinha and Tanika Basu will be premiered on January 20 on Hochoi.

‘Mission Majnu’

‘Mission Majnu’ is a fictional spy thriller directed by Shantanu Bagchi. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the story of the film revolves around India’s covert operation undertaken before and during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. It will be released on Netflix on January 20.

‘Sahmaran’

‘Sahmaran’ is a TV series starring Serenay Sarıkaya, Burak Deniz and Mustafa Uğurlu in the lead roles. It will be out on Netflix this week on January 20.

‘The Last of Us’

‘The Last of Us’ is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for HBO. It was premiered on Disney+Hotstar last week, January 15.

‘ATM’

‘ATM’ is a Telugu heist thriller starring Krishna Burugula, Ravi Raj, Roiel Shree, Divi Vadthya, Divya Vani, and Prudhvi Raj. Produced by Dil Raju and directed by Chandra Mohan, the series has story written by Harish Shankar. It is about four youngsters from the slums of Hyderabad, who rob for their livelihood. They get trapped in a high-profile case and are named most-wanted accused. The series is scheduled to be streamed on ZEE5 from January 20.

‘Varalaru Mukkiyam’

Jiiva’s Tamil film ‘Varalaru Mukkiyam’ was released on Netflix on January 15. It is a rom-com that revolves around the life of a playboy.

‘Kaapa’

Malayalam action thriller ‘Kaapa’ directed by Shaji Kailas will be premiered on Netflix on January 19. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead with Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali and Anna Ben in supporting roles. The movie saw a theatrical release on December 22 last year.

Besides these, there is a long list of shows and films you can watch this week, including: ‘Bake Squad Season 2’ – January 20 (Netflix); ‘Bling Empire: New York’ – January 20 (Netflix); ‘Jhansi Season 2’ – January 19 (Disney+ Hotstar); ‘JUNG_E’ – January 20 (Netflix); ‘Represent’ – January 20 (Netflix); ‘Shanty Town’ – January 20 (Netflix); ‘That 90’s Show’ – January 19 (Netflix); ‘The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2’ – January 20 (Amazon Prime Video); ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ – January 16 (Netflix); and ‘Women At War’ – January 19 (Netflix).
