Combat Academy fighters shine at AI-RENG Fight League in Shillong

DIMAPUR — Four males and one female, trained at The Combat Academy, located in Sovima, participated in the AI-RENG Fight League held in Shillong on Saturday.

Kekhrieneitso Angami and Sarita Rathod secured gold medals in the above 70kg and below 55kg categories, respectively, at the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournament, according to an update. Angel Debbarma, meanwhile, secured silver in the under 70kg bout.

Lichonthung Odyuo secured his third victory in amateur MMA, winning via technical knockout in the second round and securing the gold medal.
