Dimapur, March 27 (EMN): Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) has denounced the news articles and condemnations issued by various groups and organisations pertaining to the statement of the minster, Temjen Imna Along, in the recent concluded legislative assembly by pointing out that the utterance was not his personal statement but had quoted the Union Home Minister.
While expecting each and every organisation to be more responsible and not misguide or misinterpret the content of the statement as his entire statement is available in the media, CNSA said, “The Naga people should question and raise the issue with the person who spoke and not target the person who informed the people.”
A CNSA press release issued by its president, Himato Yeptho, and the general secretary, Lipemo M Tsopoe, has decided to extend fullest support if the matter is raised against the person who conveyed the message to the Naga people to let them know and create awareness amongst the common people about the pulse and the mindset of the government of India.
CNSA further stated that the Naga society cannot progress if the leaders of various groups and organisations continue to be selective and hide the truth from Naga people for whom they profess to represent.
