DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 19
The annual sports of Christina Memorial Higher Secondary School, Aoyimti, which begun from October 16 ended here today with former DGP Nagaland O.Alem IPS (Rtd) as the chief guest.
While motivating the students, Alem said, all take part in games and sports which are also part of extra-curricular activities.
He maintained that students will treasure well in future, when they go to colleges and universities, the height of physical and fitness activities that they have taken through games and sports during school days.
He lauded the school authorities who have been looking well to the affairs of students and also expressed contented that none of the players were injured during the sports week. Earlier, he handed over 14 keys of new additional toilets, both urinal and latrine for the use of the school.
Invocation prayer was offered by Temsu Jamir, Pastor ABA-cum-Chief Counselor, CMHSS while vote of thanks was proposed by Pradip Dey, Asst. Principal.
In the closing ceremony, which also witnessed prize distribution, Poana House bagged as an overall champion, while best athlete (boys) was awarded to Benjamin of class1, best athlete in girls’ category to Niamsan of class 10 and best soccer player to Vivika of class 10.
