DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has condoled the passing away of Dr. Keyiekhrie Kire, PCCF (Retd.), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
In a condolence note, Rio said that Dr. Keyiekhrie was a sincere and dedicated government officer who rendered his valuable services not only to the Government of Nagaland but also to the Governments of Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
“Throughout his illustrious career, he committed himself wholeheartedly to the people and governments he served. As a true son of the soil, he was a remarkable ambassador of Nagaland, upholding its values and reputation wherever he worked,” he said.
Calling his demise an immense loss, particularly to the Angami community and the Nagas as a whole, Rio said that the void left by his passing will be hard to fill and added that his legacy of goodness and service will continue to inspire future generations.
“In this time of sorrow, my family joins me in extending our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. We pray that God Almighty grants them the strength and solace to endure this irreparable loss. May Dr. Keyiekhrie’s soul rest in eternal peace,” it read.
