DIMAPUR— Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has condoled the demise of L Pukhato Shohe, Nagaland Government registered class-I contractor, who passed away at Oking Hospital, Kohima.
The chief minister in a condolence message said late Pukhato was one of the pioneers of Nagaland Government Registered Class-1 Contractors’ Union and had served the union as general secretary for many years. “He was a sincere and hardworking contractor who always endeavoured to give priority to quality workmanship. Besides his professional life, he was also someone who loved the Lord dearly and had served the Church in different capacities. He was outspoken and kind and was selfless to people in need,” Rio said.
“His demise is a great loss to the Naga society in general and the Sumi community in particular. The vacuum left by his demise will be difficult to fill. Though he is no longer with us, let us cherish and celebrate his life and it is my belief that his legacy will be carried on,” the message read.
