Dimapur, Oct. 12 (EMN): Chief Minister TR Zeliang has expressed shock at the demise of Raghu Menon, IAS of Nagaland cadre who has been a personal friend of him for many years.
A condolence message addressed to his wife Rashmi Menon, Zeliang said being in the Government of Nagaland Menon always worked in the interest of Nagaland and his immense contribution to the state in various capacities will never be forgotten by the Naga people.
CM on behalf of the Government of Nagaland, conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
ISAAN: The ISA Association of Nagaland (ASAAN) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of Raghu Menon, a 1974 batch officer of Nagaland cadre.
A message to his wife Rashmi Menon, the association said Menon was a respected and brilliant member of the service, who contributed immensely in various capacities, both in the State as well as Government of India. The ISAAN added that Menon was much admired, loved and appreciated by all and lamented that his passing away has left a big void.
In this hour of grief, the ISAAN conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved wife and children.
