CDBA announces selection trials for state championship

DIMAPUR — The Chümoukedima District Badminton Association (CDBA) is set to organise selection trials for various categories on September 21.

The categories include veteran men’s doubles for 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, and 65+, U-17 boys’ singles and doubles, U-17 girls’ singles and doubles, U-15 boys singles and doubles, U-15 girls’ singles and doubles, U-13 boys’ singles and doubles, U-13 girls’ singles and doubles, U-11 boys’ singles and doubles, U-11 girls’ singles and doubles, and U-9 boys’ singles and doubles, U-9 girls’ singles and doubles.

The trial/selection will take place from 7 am onwards at Niathu Indoor Badminton Stadium. CDBA has requested that clubs in the district send players for this event.

Those selected will represent the district in the Li Ning 46th Nagaland State Open Badminton Championship 2024, which will be held in Wokha district from October 10 to the 12th.
