CBCMHK celebrates World Sunday School Day

DIMAPUR — The Sunday School department of the Chakhesang Baptist Church, Ministers' Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK), celebrated World Sunday School Day and 9th graduation day on the theme 'nurturing in the light of the word' on November 5.

According to a press release, a total of 85 students from the class of Knight Templars graduated from the Sunday school.

Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, senior pastor, CBCMHK, gave away the certificates on the occasion and pronounced a special prayer for the graduating students.

In his message, Vevo urged the graduating students to remember to worship God, serve Him always, and defend their faith as they leave Sunday school, adding that they are graduating as children of God.

He encouraged them to go out with confidence, face the challenges and struggles of life, and conquer them.

The release mentioned that over 1,300 children celebrated the occasion together.
