CATCH Them Young Tournament organized by Department of Youth Resources and Sports culminated today with Kelei Zeliang Director Youth Resources and Sports as the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony.
Addressing the participants on the closing ceremony chief guest acknowledged that one needs preparation to succeed as one cannot achieve success immediately. By their participation in this tournament he stated that through this they will be able to stand out preparing themselves for representing in the state, national as well as international level.
Acknowledging that to be a sportsperson is not easy, he maintained that an individual needs the three D’s-Determination, dedication and discipline to attain success. Calling upon the players to focus in their discipline in order to excel, he mentioned that a master of none cannot achieve anything so their target should be specific where they can shine in their own filed.
Congratulating the winners and appreciating the participants, he called for the winners not to be arrogant with their victory but to be humble in victory and to non winners he called upon them to accept their defeat graciously.
