DIMAPUR — St. Thomas Mission Society, in collaboration with Dr. Mar Theophilos Institute of Management Studies (DMTIMS) Navi Mumbai, conducted a one-day seminar on career guidance at MGM College, Dimapur, on Saturday.
The seminar was held for students from Yemhi Memorial College and Cornerstone College, Dimapur, an update stated.
During the seminar, CEO of DMTIMS, Rev. Fr. Abraham Joseph announced INR one lakh scholarship for Naga students to pursue MBA and PGDM courses at DMTIMS College, Navi Mumbai.
St. Thomas Society Dimapur will also provide INR 50,000 for Naga students to pursue courses at DMTIMS, Mumbai, and B. Tech and M. Tech courses at Christian Engineering College, Bhilai.
A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between MGM College and DMTIMS for further collaboration in faculty-student exchange programmes and Research & Development, it stated.
CEO of DMTIMS along with Asst. Prof. Febin Varghese and Asst. Prof. Reba Aan Varghese led the seminar. Principal of MGM College, Rev. Fr. Dr. PS Varghese welcomed the dignitaries.
Earlier, on April 28, St. Thomas Mission Society along with DMTIMS also organised career guidance classes at Living Stone Foundation International College, City College and NEISSR, Chümoukedima, it stated.
