Captain America Civil War makes it two weeksCaptain America: Civil War made it two weeks at the top of the UK box office with another great weekend. Civil War, which is the third standalone film for this character, took in a further £4.8 million – despite the hot and sunny weather over the weekend.
The movie has only been out a fortnight and it is already the fifth highest grossing film of the year and looks set to leapfrog Deadpool and The Jungle Book in no time.
Speaking of The Jungle Book, it was another none-mover this week as it stayed put at number two. The film, which is still winning over critics and audiences took a further £2.1 million.

The rest of the top five were made up of new entries from Bad Neighbours 2, Florence Foster Jenkins and Robinson Crusoe, which opened at three four and five.
Bad Neighbours 2 and Florence Foster Jenkins – which boast stars such as Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant – were the most high profile of the new entries but perhaps did not perform as well as expected.
The great weather was probably one major factor in the fact that Bad Neighbours 2 took £1.6 million while Florence Foster Jenkins failed to make £1 million in its opening weekend – despite the star power of Streep.
Eye in the Sky fell out of the top five for the first time as it slipped three places to this week’s number six.
Secret Cinema shows British horror classic 28 Days Later and opened at number eight on the chart.
Bastille Day was this week’s biggest faller as the Idris Elba action movie dropped four spots from five to number nine.
