Capital College wins open penalty shootout

Kohima, August 5 (EMN): Capital College, Kohima emerged as the champion of the Open Penalty Shootout tournament held at Kohima local ground on Saturday. In the final match, Capital College beat St. Joseph College 5-4 to clinch the title.
The tournament was organised by All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) in aid of the 18th Biennial General Conference under the theme “One Dream”.
Capital College received a cash prize of Rs 20,000/- while the runners up St Joseph College, Jakhama pocketed Rs. 10,000/-. Mughato Assumi of Capital College was declared as the best goal keeper and received a cash prize of Rs 3000.
The match patron Kezhazer Angami, ANCSU Tribunal general and former speaker gave away the awards to the winning teams. Altogether 26 teams participated in the tournament.
