Capital College of Higher Education undertakes campaign on clean election in Nagaland
Ahead of the general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) in Kohima undertook a three-phase campaign on clean election.
An update from the college informed that the event was held from February 13 to the 17th in the college campus.
It informed that the first phase was conducted in the form of poster campaign wherein students contributed posters with various messages in the form of slogan some of which read “My vote is not for sale,” “Your vote is your voice,” “Say no to note, rightly cast your vote” etc.
The second phase was conducted in the form of signature campaign wherein students and teachers undertook pledge to participate in clean election. It stated that about 200 signatures were collected as part of the signature campaign.
The release further stated that the third phase was undertaken by the students wherein they carried forward the message of clean election and awareness to the citizens in the state capital beyond the college campus. IT added that about 600 signatures were collected wherein the participants pledged for clean election. Kohima, Feb. 24 (EMN)
