Candidates kick-off campaigns for ULB elections in Kohima

KOHIMA — Former journalist and independent candidate Atou Liezietsu, who is contesting from the Midland ward for the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), commenced his campaign for the ULB elections on Wednesday at the Angami Public Organisation (APO) Hall in Midland, Kohima.

Former MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro campaigned for Atou Liezietsu on the occasion.

Liezietsu held positions as the former president of the Midland Youth Organisation, former president of the Kohima Press Club, former media officer to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, former press secretary of the Naga Peoples Front (NPF), and presently serves as the finance secretary of the Midland Panchayat.

Tosovi Tase, an NDPP candidate for Ward 14, also launched his campaign for the ULB elections for the KMC on June 11 at Old Ministers’ Hill Colony in Kohima.

NDPP legislator and Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, was the star campaigner for Tase.
