Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): A Naga woman, who was undergoing treatment for cancer in Kolkata, has tested positive for Covid-19.
It was informed that she was temporarily staying at Nagaland House, Salt Lake City, and tested positive for the virus on June 27.
A reliable source in Kolkata informed Eastern Mirror that the woman, said to be in her fifties, was undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Kolkata.
“A call was received from the hospital on Saturday confirming that the patient had tested positive and that she had been admitted there after detection,” said the source.
The source further informed that the authorities concerned have been notified in Kolkata where all necessary protocols including testing of the staff of Nagaland House in Salt Lake City and contact tracing will be done.
