DIMAPUR — The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has formally requested the Government of Nagaland to consider and issue instructions to various state departments for the utilisation of BSNL services for telecom requirements.
This is in compliance to the directives earlier issued by the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Communications, mandating the utilisation of BSNL network for internet/broadband, landlines and lease line requirement for all ministries and departments of the Government of India, central public sector undertakings (CPSEs) and autonomous bodies under the central government, a DIPR report stated.
All the stakeholder departments have been impressed upon to utilise BSNL telecom service for their telecom requirements wherever possible, it stated.
