Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): The Government of Nagaland has decided to reintroduce the conduct of examinations by the board for Class IV and Class VIII from the current year, stated a notification from Principal Director, Sarangi of Directorate of School Education on Tuesday.
“In pursuance of the decision taken in the State Level Education Committee held on 05/04/2017, it is hereby notified that the Board Examination in schools shall be re-introduced in the level of Class IV to be conducted by the respective SDEOs and in the level of Class VIII by SCERT,” it stated.
The order however stated that the board exams will be conducted only in government schools for the academic year 2017.
