BJP officials tour Wokha mandal

Dimapur, July 23 (EMN): A team of BJP leaders led by State secretary (organisation) in-charge of Nagaland, Ananda Narayan Mishra; vice president and in-charge of Wokha District, Er Cheong Konyak and Er Senkathung Jami, State vice president, visited Wokha on July 18.
During the visit, Mishra challenged the party workers on implementing ten-point programmes at the earliest before arriving of National BJP president, Amit Shah, who is scheduled to visit Nagaland on August 27. He also deliberated on formation of District Committee to Booth Level Committee and formation of Facebook and WhatsApp group in all the mandal committee for easy communication and to strengthen the party activities.
Echoing that BJP is not against any particular religion, he said the party stands for uplift of the general public on the theme “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”.
Short speeches were delivered by vice president cum Wokha District in charge, Er. Cheong Konyak and the president BJP Wokha district, L Meribemo Kinghen.
The meeting was chaired by president of 38th AC Mandal, Yiponthung Ezung, while the introduction and welcome address was delivered by the general secretary, Peter Humtsoe, and the vice president, Wokha, Motsuthung Tsanglao proposed vote of thanks.
