Secularism being a vital part of Indian constitution in script in the preamble needs to be protected and preserved, if Indian union is to remain united, the BJP Nagaland unit reiterated.
“Such acts by ultras in the name of religion need to be curbed by the BJP central leadership and the BJP government under Narendra Modi before the BJP as a party become a liability to the people of India, instead of governing India to a developed and an industrialized nation.”
The BJP Nagaland also termed the attack on the churches in Lahore, Pakistan where dozens precious lives were lost as a desperate attempt to damage and stop the growth of Christianity in Pakistan. “These attacks on the minorities have serious implications not only on the religion but it effects the social balance of the country as a whole.”
