DIMAPUR — As part of his intensive district tour programme, president of BJP Nagaland, Benjamin Yepthomi, completed his tour to Mon district from October 28 to the 31st.
He reached Aboi on November 2 and held meeting with the party office bearers along with four mandal presidents, morchas and booth level committee members at Aboi organisation office, an update from the party stated.
In his address, the president focused widely on reaching out to the grassroots and strengthening the booth levels so as to propagate the welfare programmes and schemes of the party and also the mega developmental policy of the prime minister’s ‘Act East Policy.’
On November 3, he was received by the former minister, H Pangyu Phom in Longleng town and held a series of meetings with the district office bearers, mandal presidents, morchas and booth level officials. He also interacted with the public.
It stated that the president and his entourage would move to Tuensang where they are scheduled to stay for two days.
