DIMAPUR — The official ‘induction ceremony-cum-issuance of official appointment letters’ for the new state office bearers, morcha presidents, and district presidents was held on Thursday at the BJP head office in Kohima.
According to a press release, the state president of the BJP, Benjamin Yepthomi, inducted and issued official appointment letters to six vice presidents (Kropol Vitse, Basu Damani, S Phangnon Konyak, Hurui Zeliang, Yankithung Yanthan, and H Haiying), two general secretaries (Sunep C Jamir and Manai Konyak), one general secretary (org.) (Abhay Giri), six state secretaries (Melandialiu, Easter Chang, Shilukaba Longchar, Vechita, Tafi Snock, and Aliba Sangtam), one state treasurer (Mahesh Kotecha), and one office secretary (P Kavili Achumi).
During the ceremony, the state morcha presidents of Mahila Morcha (Shanbeni), Yuva Morcha (Hinoka), ST Morcha (Tsachola Sangtam), Kisan Morcha (Cheong Konyak), OBC Morcha (Prabhakar Yadav), and Minority Morcha (Ankit Jain), as well as 14 district presidents, were also officially inducted.
The district presidents are Eshu Konyak (Org.) (Aboi), Imchainba Jamir (Dimapur), Tali C Sangtam (Kiphire), Khrielie Usou (Kohima), Ajoy Phom (Longleng), Talitoshi Imchen (Org.) (Mangkolemba), Bendang S Aier (Mokokchung), Y Hosea Konyak (Mon), H Pushing Khiamniungan (Noklak), Namsilung Zeliang (Peren), Vekho Swuro (Phek), T Chongshen Chang (Tuensang), L Zaremo Kikon (Wokha), and Hekhushe Shikhu (Zunheboto).
In his presidential address, Yepthomi urged all newly inducted officials to give their all in the service of the party and urged members to maintain unity and integrity while honouring the alliance partnership with the NDPP in letter and spirit.
