BJP Mokokchung organises programme on legal education

Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): The BJP Mokokchung district organised a one-day legal awareness programme for all karyakartas on legal education at BJP Conference Hall Mokokchung on Friday.

President of BJP Mokokchung district, Imolemba Jamir, said that this programme was initiated to make the youngsters understand and appreciate law, an update informed.

The resource persons were Advocate Limanungsang Jamir, Retainer Lawyer MDLSA (Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority) and Adv. Mapujungla Pongen, lecturer, Mokokchung Law College and Prog. Assistant, MDLSA.

The resource persons – – Advocate Limanungsang Jamir and Adv. Mapujungla Pongen — spoke on the basic rights of an individual according to Indian law and Village Council Act , and consumer rights respectively.  The programme was moderated by Tiarenla, General Secretary, Kisan Morcha, BJP Mokokchung while Longsaakum Longkumer, BJYM President delivered the vote of thanks .
