DIMAPUR — The minority morcha of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nagaland, celebrated the 73rd birthday of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on Sunday by visiting the patients at Dimapur District Hospital and distributing fruits and refreshments to the patients and staff.
An update from Nagaland BJP minority morcha stated that the state vice president, Basu Damani; state general secretaries, Khevishe Achumi and Atila Phom and state BJP spokesperson, Kasheto Kiba, and president of minority morcha, Deep Kumar, were present during the visit to the District Hospital, Dimapur.
The celebrations marked the beginning of Sewa Pakhwada (fortnight of service) from September 17 to October 2.
It mentioned that BJP Nagaland, under the leadership of its state president, Temjen Imba Along, has taken up state-wide service programmes to be executed by the party and its kaaryakartas during the Pakhwada. Other programmes included blood donation and health camps in various districts, photo exhibition based on Narendra Modi’s personality and work, cleanliness campaign, creation of Ayushman Bharat card for the digitally left-out people.
The report further stated that state BJP leaders have wished for early recovery of the patients admitted to the District Hospital, Dimapur.
