Bihar CM Nitish Kumar visiting Nagaland today

Dimapur, Oct. 10 (EMN): Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal United (JD-U) Supremo, Nitish Kumar is visiting Nagaland today, October 11, to attend the All Nagaland Bihari Conference at Dimapur District Sports Complex.
The conference has been organised to commemorate the 120th birth anniversary of Jaya Prakash Narayan, who was a member of the Nagaland Peace Mission under the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and visited the state in 1960s to promote peace.
The JD (U) state unit had earlier announced that it would sponsor the event organised by the Bihari Samaj, Bihari Kalyan Samiti and Matri Foundation, Nagaland. The party said that it would be the best way to acknowledge the sacrifices and immense contributions of Jaya Prakash Narayan towards the Naga political movement.
Meanwhile, after the visit to Nagaland, the chief minister of Bihar is scheduled to visit Saifai, the ancestral village of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, to pay tributes to the veteran politician who died on Monday.
