DIMAPUR — Balijan Youth Club (BYC) has organised its 3rd felicitation programme at Balijan English School auditorium on Sunday with Dipak Lahon, sub-inspector of Karagaon patrol post, as the chief guest.
Congratulating the passed-out HSLC and HSSLC students from NBSE and SEBA, Lahon stated that their achievement was due to hard work and concentration towards their studies. Quoting the maxim ‘No pain, no gain,’ he said that without proper planning and good effort no one can gain good results.
He further urged the gathering to fight against the menace of drugs and other social evils in order to make the society a better place to live.
On the occasion, medals and certificate were given away to the HSLC and HSSLC passed out students.
The felicitation programme were attended by Birsing Teron, Gaon bura; DS Pandey, headmaster of Wapang Taro LP School; Mithu Chanda, assistant teacher of Wapang Taro LP School; Kobin Taro, president of BJP wing Balijan unit; and Prem Chettri, general secretary of BJP wing Balijan unit.
