Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): A day after the deputy commissioner of Dimapur had ordered an inquiry into the alleged assault on a doctor by IRB personnel on the night of August 21, the government of Nagaland constituted a 3-member committee to probe the same incident.
An order issued by the principal secretary of Home department on Sunday stated that the commissioner and secretary of Rural Development, Neposo Theluo, would head the inquiry committee.
The secretary for Law and Justice, Khanrinla Koza and the additional deputy commissioner of Niuland, Rosy Margaret Athrila are the members.
The committee has been directed to submit its report within seven days.
