Assam Rifles provides bookshelves, books to SJC

DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles provided essential items, including 15 bookshelves and 50 books, as part of the renovation and modernisation of the library at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme on Thursday in Jakhama, Kohima.

According to a press release, the event was attended by the principal, faculty, and students of the college.

It maintained that the act of Assam Rifles will greatly benefit the students of St. Joseph’s College in terms of expanding learning opportunities, improving infrastructure, cultivating a reading culture, and enhancing the academic performance of the students.
