Dimapur, Dec. 22 (EMN): The Angami Public Organisation (APO) has appealed to the Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) to reconsider its decision of prohibiting Mao citizens from entering or travelling through SAPO jurisdiction.

“While acknowledging that SAPO has resolved to such measures due to the Kezoltsa/Dzükou dispute; it is also worth mentioning that the Board of Arbitrators entrusted by Tenyimi Public Organisation to adjudicate on the mentioned dispute has pronounced their verdict on the December 19, 2022,” an update from APO read.

APO therefore appealed to SAPO to lift the restriction on the Mao community considering the interests of all involved parties and concerted efforts being made to amicably resolve the dispute and as a ‘mark of good faith for the shared ancestral and fraternal bond, and in the true spirit of Christianity’.
