KOHIMA — In celebration of the Tuluni festival, the Aphuyemi Sumi Kuqhakulu (Pughoboto Area Public Organisation) Kohima conducted a social work event at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS) in Kohima on Saturday.

Around 500 people from 24 villages took part in social work, according to an update. The event was organised to revive, revitalise, and celebrate their ancestral legacy.

It was mentioned that the reason for organising the social work was to honour the tradition of voluntary service demonstrated by their ancestors in Kohima, adding that the ancestors had contributed to various projects, including the construction of local infrastructure, the deputy commissioner’s office site, RGHSS site, and the Naga Hospital, among others.

Kohima village L Khel chairman Ayie Yhome and his team also visited the social work site and interacted with the people from the Pughoboto area.
