DIMAPUR — The Act of Kindness Society (AoK), in partnership with Artsy Naga School of Fine Arts (ANSoFA), held the ninth edition of Magnum Opus, an art and music festival, at ANSoFA, Diphupar A, Dimapur, on October 25 and 26.
According to an update, the festival began with art demonstrations and workshops on the first day, led by Mughaka Swu and Ritsanok Longchar, focusing on sculpting and painting, respectively.
Thang Paite, Lipokmanen Longkumer, and Ritsanok Longchar were the guest artists for the two-day art demonstration.
On the second day, a painting competition was held, with around 70 participants from Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts competing across three categories: junior, sub-junior, and open.
The competition was judged by Aku Zeliang, creative director of Heirloom Naga Centre and Cane Concept and founder of Urra Design and Objects; Moaso Aier, an artist and museologist; and Limasangwa Aonok, an artist from SASRD Nagaland University.

Winner: Etoka – INR 10,000
Runner-up: Nutele Khesoh – INR 6,000

Winner: Rahul Alam – INR 15,000
Runner-up: Bishw Deb – INR 10,000
