Annual sports week of Baptist Mission School, Jotsoma underway

Kohima, March 24 (EMN): As part of the annual school activity, Baptist Mission School Jotsoma kicked started its 19th annual sports meet with lots of enthusiasm on March 22.

Visabi Ü Peseyie the head coach of Taewondo, Nagaland graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his inaugural speech, he highlighted the importance of taking part in sports to be mentally, physically and intellectually fit to become a perfect personality.

In his welcome speech, V.J. Thomas the headmaster of the school reminded the students, while taking part in the sports how a person learn to win honourably, lose gracefully, respect the authority, work with others, manage the time and stay out of trouble. The march-past and drill display of the students made the function more colourful.

Many prominent personality of Jotsoma village were also present during the inaugural function. The sports meet will end on Saturday, March 25.
