DIMAPUR — The annual sports meet 2023 of Newman Higher Secondary School, Tobu, began on Wednesday at the school ground.
According to an update, speaking during the opening ceremony, S A Nyamlao, president of Konyak Union, Tobu unit, encouraged students to stay physically fit and pursue careers in sports. He also challenged students and teachers to compete academically with the top Nagaland schools.
The three-day event, which concludes on October 20, will feature four houses competing for the overall championship in a variety of events such as football, volleyball, basketball, kabadi, khokho, and other individual games, with over a hundred students taking part.
