AIDA imparts feed management training to 150 pig farmers
DIMAPUR — ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), Don Bosco, Dimapur, under SBI Gram Saksham programme, organised extensive training sessions on feed preparation and management for 150 pig rearing beneficiaries of 10 selected villages on Saturday.
The villages were Bade, Diezephe, Khriezephe, Murise, Razhaphe Bawe, Seluophe, Tsithrongse, Urra, Vidima, and Virazouma, according to a press release.
The training sessions were conducted simultaneously at three different locations—Khriezephe Village Council Hall, Urra Village Market Shed, and Vidima Village Council Hall.
On the occasion, the resource person, Gwazenlo Tep, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, Wokha, provided insights and introduced innovative and cost-effective techniques for preparing nutritious and balanced pig feed, ensuring optimal growth and health of the pigs.
The training sessions also emphasised the importance of proper feeding schedules and hygiene practices to maintain a healthy farming environment.
