Abiogenesis from Nagaland performs at Aadi Mohatsov Festival New Delhi

Abiogenesis performed during the Aadi Mahotsav Mega National Tribal Festival at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi on Feb. 23.

An update issued on Feb. 25 informed that the festival, which will be concluded on Feb. 27, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Feb. 16.

The National Tribal Festival of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs is being organised by the North Central Zone Cultural Centre celebrating the tribal spirit including its culture, crafts, cuisine, commerce and traditional art.

Around 1000 tribal artisans are said to be participating at the Mahotsav.

In line with the International Year of Millets celebration, a special focus in the Mahotsav is being showcased by Shree Anna grown by the tribals.

Around 17 states/UTs are participating in this Mahotsav. Dimapur, Feb. 25 (EMN)
