Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): A mysterious Naga man, wrapped in a Naga national flag who also held the Indian flag on a pole with a Hornbill feather on his head, was seen walking along National Highway-29 in the early morning hours of Tuesday. This comes at a time when a peace talks between the government of India and Naga political groups is on.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, the man who did not reveal his name or where he was from said that he, as an economist, sees the threat that is about to befall upon the future of the Nagas. The man, therefore, said he is taking these steps in order to save and bring growth between the government of Nagaland and government of India.

“The walk is for the future generation and to bring about awareness on other bigger issues such as poverty,” said the man and added that instead of dealing with warfare, everyone must deal with other important problems that is being faced right now.

Hurriedly carrying on with his mission, the man said that his inspiration came from the people and the many hardships some have faced due to the prevailing situation. “It isn’t just me that is on this fight for a peaceful place but the fight of many,” said the man as he signalled a peace sign and walked on.
