PHED minister inspects ROB renovation works in Dimapur

DIMAPUR — Minister of PHED and Cooperation, Jacob Zhimomi, on Wednesday inspected the ongoing road over bridge (ROB) renovation works near DDSC stadium on NH-29.

The minister has expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work and appealed to the contractors to not compromise with the quality workmanship. He pointed that bridge and road constructions require strong foundation and affirmed that there should be no compromise on quality workmanship.

When told that the bridge would be completed by December 15 but required a healing period of 21 days, he stated that the healing period system should be adhered to. He has appealed to the contactors to let them heal naturally.

He was accompanied by the deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, contractors and engineers.
