Nagaland Police Meet enter 6th day on Saturday

Boxers having a go at each other during the 40th Nagaland Police Duty-cum-Sports Meet on Friday.

Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): The fifth day of the ongoing Nagaland Police Duty-cum-Sports Meet at Chümoukedima saw the 6th NAP Bn. defeat DEF Mokokchung 6-2  in the first quarter finals.

A press release informed that 1st NAP defeated DEF Kohima 4-1 in the second quarter finals. “The third quarter finals will see clashes between the 2nd NAP Bn and DEF Wokha on November 16 at 8 am; the fourth quarter finals will be between DEF Tuensang and DEF Mon on November 16 at 1 pm,” it informed

The day also witnessed competitions across boxing (final fights under 5 weight categories) and the start of the shooting events where medals were up for grabs in 4 competition variants.

“In badminton, day-5 saw the finals of the badminton team event where DEF Tuensang was placed first; 6th NAP Bn. in second place and; 3rd Nap Bn. in third place,” it stated.
