MOKOKCHUNG — The additional deputy commissioner (ADC) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has informed all the shop owners and proprietors of business establishments operating under MMC jurisdiction to renew/obtain trade permit by November 30.
All shop owners and proprietors of business establishments have been directed to comply with the notice within the stipulated time as mentioned.
In an order, the CEO reiterated that those shops operating without valid trade permit would attract hefty penalties and those failing to renew their trade permit would also face penalties and cancellation of their trade permit.
In a separate order, the CEO informed the union/association or individual organising any kind of fund raising activity such as tambola, sales day, events etc. to obtain proper event permit from the office of MMC.
It warned that anyone conducting such activities without the approval of the MMC would be penalised, which might even lead to cancellation of the said event/programme.
Further in another order, the MMC CEO directed stalls and vehicles parked on the main roadside within Mokokchung municipality to relocate the stalls and vehicles before the first week of December.
