Naga Students’ Forum Mangalore holds 17th freshers’ meet

DIMAPUR — The Naga Students’ Forum Mangalore (NSFM) organised its 17th freshers’ meet on November 1 at Sahodaya Hall, St. Aloysius, Mangalore.

According to a press release, the event was divided into two sessions: formal and informal.

The formal session began with a prayer song by Nitte University, followed by the welcome and presidential addresses by Atolito Bolly Chophy. Dr. Joby EC, director of Meredian College, Mangalore, attended the event as the chief guest.

A special performance was presented by St. Aloysius, after which Chiithuzhiio delivered a speech on behalf of the freshers. Christy Shimray led a prayer for the freshers, and Atyty Tep delivered the vote of thanks. The formal session concluded with a benediction by Kaliho.

Chiithuzhiio and Tialemla Pongen were crowned Mr. Freshers and Miss Freshers 2024, respectively.

It was also mentioned that the NSFM executive board for the 2024-25 tenure consists of president Atolito Bolly Chophy, vice president Atyty Tep, general secretary Kunuhulu Rose, treasurer Kajeni Magdalene, PRO Ungrormi, assistant general secretary Imsunungla, sports secretary Talentkhui, cultural secretary Adaha, assistant sports secretary Vinoto, assistant cultural secretary Loli, assistant PRO Kaliho, and assistant treasurer Nongosano.

Advisors for the year include Kaini Cecilia and Christy Shimray.
