DIMAPUR — The department of Health and Family Welfare has informed all the students undergoing medical, nursing and paramedical courses that the common scholarship portal for scholarship schemes would go live (active) with effect from November 6 to December 6.
It informed that applicants can access the said portal through the URL https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in. It added that the department would accept application through the above cited portal (online) only and that application submitted in hardcopy to the directorate would not be entertained and be considered as not applied.
Students and institutions are instructed to go through the guidelines given in the portal before proceeding to fill up the online form.
It mentioned that students selected through NEET/ NSEE/ state departmental examination only and undergoing the above mentioned courses would be eligible to apply.
It stated that students failing to complete their curriculum within the specified duration of the course (repeaters) would not be entitled to additional stipend.
It further informed that the portal would be closed from December 7 and the late application would not be entertained.
It, therefore, advised the students and institutions to fill their online application well ahead of last date to avoid any last minute inconveniences.
